The Couples San Souci Resort located in Ocho Rios, Jamaica consists of 150 rooms and suites on 35 acres. Couples San Souci is an all-inclusive resort with 4 restaurants and 6 bars. On August 19, 2007 Hurricane Dean passed over the island of Jamaica. The dangerous category four storm pummeled Jamaica with high winds and rain for most of the day. The hurricane which packed top winds of 145 miles as its raked the country's south coast. Dean caused 3 deaths and over $1B USD in damage.
